Corpus Christi College currently offers association with a number of scholarships for graduate study (all awards are conditional on the holder being, or becoming, a member the College). 27 graduate students currently benefit from a partial or fully funded Corpus scholarship.
Senior Scholarships
Corpus offers senior scholarships to two graduate members of the College in their third year of study. These awards – one in sciences, one in social sciences/ humanities – recognise outstanding academic distinction and are awarded on the basis of submitted written work. The recipient gets £1,000 for the year, plus one free lunch and dinner every week during term-time.
Black Academic Futures Scholarship
The college is a ‘headline’ funding partner of these university scholarships which offer UK Black and Mixed-Black students financial support to pursue graduate study at Oxford. More information can be found here.
A E Haigh Scholarship in association with a Clarendon Scholarship
Up to three scholarships a year are awarded jointly with the University to recipients of a Clarendon Scholarship. The recipients are selected by the University and must be reading for a degree in a subject area in which the College has an academic interest.
Cowley Scholarship in association with a Clarendon Scholarship
Up to two Scholarships a year are awarded jointly with the University to recipients of a Clarendon Scholarship. The recipients are selected by the University and must be reading for a degree in a subject area in which the College has an academic interest.
Sidgwick Essay Prize
A prize of £150 awarded annually for an essay submitted by graduate members of the College.
