Law Residential 2026
The 2026 Law Residential will be taking place in March 2026. Applications for this residential will open in January 2026 and will be advertised on this webpage.
What does the Residential involve?
The Residential is an opportunity for current Year 12 students to engage with Law and learn what it's like to study Law. The first day of the Residential features legal workshops at Corpus Christi College led by academics, with opportunities to meet and chat to current undergraduate Law students. Attendees have a tour of the college, as well as advice for interviews and applications. Meals and accommodation are included in the Residential, free of charge. Successful applicants stay overnight at Corpus Christi College before being taken to the Faculty of Law Open Day on the second day.
Law Residential 2025
This year's Law Residential took place on Monday 17th March and Tuesday 18th March 2025. We had 30 attendees stay at Corpus, with a significant proportion hailing from our link region of Greater Manchester, and they all took part in our three different workshops, hosted by our tutors, Sonam Gordhan, Lia Lawton, and Matthew Dyson.

History of the Law Residential
Corpus' Law Residential has been running since 2017. During the pandemic (2020 and 2021), the Law Residential workshops moved online. In 2022, the Law Residential returned to being delivered in-person at Corpus Christi, taking place in March 2022. Following the pandemic, the College began providing an online April Law Workshop after the Law Residential, for those candidates who applied but who we were unable to host for the Residential itself.
