The College is delighted that Yijun Lim has been awarded the James S Walker Prize by IoM3 in recognition of his Part II thesis, entitled "In-situ 3D observation of damage development and healing in a carbon fibre/epoxy composite.". Yijun graduated in 2019 with a First Class in Materials Science.

The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM3) has announced that Yijun Lim (Materials, 2015) has been awarded the James S Walker Prize.
The James S Walker Prize is awarded for a published paper or an unpublished project report by a student on the subject of polymers. Yijun was nominated for the Prize by the University's Department of Materials.
