Following the retirement of the previous incumbent Corpus Christi College is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to manage the maintenance team, and all maintenance activity of the College. This post will be responsible for the tasking, monitoring, quality management and activity of the small maintenance team – this will include being hands on with some tasks and therefore a trade background would be an advantage. The role will work for the Estates Manager and will be active in modernising and improving the operation of the Maintenance Team as well as managing their training. The Health and Safety aspects of the Maintenance work will also require the attention of this role. The person will require to manage and be a part of the College’s Call-out rota for out of hours emergencies. This element is paid over and above the quoted salary. 

The College has a diverse portfolio of property around the City and many buildings are grade I or II listed. The successful applicant will have an eye for detail and accuracy in planning and controlling works. The incumbent will also be required to liaise with external Maintenance Contractors in programming and monitoring their work
