On 24 March, the College welcomed graduates from 1991 to 1996 back for their Gaudy. Despite us experiencing all manner of weather, we had a joyous reunion with a varied programme of events including a fantastic talk by Professor Colin Akerman and Professor Pawel Swietach on the role that academic institutions play in medical research today, a historical talk of College by Professor Thomas Charles-Edwards (Modern History, 1962) and Evensong. Thank you to Fergus O’Sullivan (PPE, 1993) for a wonderful speech at dinner, during which he reflected on how the technological advancements of the early nineties impacted student experience and how that compares to our current students’ experience.
