Benefactors' Gathering - 17 September 2022

On 17 September, the College invited its most generous benefactors back to Corpus for afternoon tea. In the glorious sunshine, guests enjoyed garden games, an historical tour of Corpus with Emeritus Fellow Professor Thomas Charles-Edwards (Modern History,1962) and a talk about the College’s art collection by Phillip Olney (English, 2018).

In addition, guests were invited to meet the architects for The Spencer Building project – the most ambitious building project on the College site for three centuries. As well as creating more suitable conditions for maintaining the College’s valuable special collections and archives, it will also be a space where students can interact and a place of quiet study. The College is committed to making The Spencer Building and the landscaped spaces around it accessible and welcoming to all. If you would either like to donate or learn more about the various naming opportunities please visit the project’s website here or simply contact development@ccc.ox.ac.uk for more information.
