Corpus Christi College is delighted to announce that Dr Helen Moore has been elected for a second term as President and will serve for a term of up to seven years. Helen was first elected President for a term of two years in October 2018. She is the first woman to hold this office and has been Fellow in English at Corpus since 1996. Her teaching and research interests are in the medieval and early modern periods; she was lead curator for the ‘Manifold Greatness’ exhibition of 2011 that explored the role of Corpus in the translation of the Authorized Version of the Bible (known also as the King James Bible, 1611). Her current research is a biography of the Jacobean playwright John Webster, author of The Duchess of Malfi among other plays.
