Corpus Christi College invites applications for a non-stipendiary Junior Research Fellow tenable for up to three years from 1st October 2024. Applications are invited in all subject areas and in particular the Social Sciences. Applicants should be conducting research in a subject offered by the College.

Applicants should be close to finishing their doctorate and should have submitted their thesis by the time they take up the Fellowship. Post-doctoral applicants are also welcome provided that no more than two years have elapsed since completion.

JRFs are also eligible to submit bids (of up to £10,000) to the College’s Small Grant Research Fund. The College may be able to provide office space but this cannot be guaranteed.

Applications should be submitted by email to college.office@ccc.ox.ac.uk and should include a curriculum vitae, a brief statement of research plans, specifying academic department, and the names of two referees. Applications should be received by Midday on 25 April 2024.  Referees should be asked to send their references by email to college.office@ccc.ox.ac.uk by the same date.

Interviews may be held.

The appointed applicants will be required to provide evidence of their stipendiary position and attachment to the University prior to taking up the JRF. The Fellowship will run coterminously with the stipendiary position for up to three years.
