Corpus Christi College is looking for a talented and creative person to take on the role of Development Director to help shape the next phase of the College’s 500-year history. The Development Director will be based in Corpus Christi College, Oxford, OX1 4JF and will work alongside senior colleagues to develop an inspirational five- and ten-year development strategy in fulfilment of the College’s strategic plan. This will take in several exciting priorities and projects, both academic and capital, including the completion of a major £10m fundraising campaign to build a new Special Collections Centre, and a second new capital project in the region of £10m.

The successful candidate will have been educated to degree level. They will demonstrate strong financial acumen, with a proven track record of significant accomplishment in fundraising and/or development. This will be accompanied by an aptitude for strategy, a proactive, ambitious, and innovative outlook, and a strong commitment to the academic values of the College.  In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate the interpersonal skills required to carry out the role effectively alongside the Fellows of this historic institution.  The salary will be between £70,000 - £80,000 p.a., with the precise figure to be negotiated according to qualifications and experience.
