Corpus Christi College is looking to appoint an Assistant Outreach Officer for a fixed-term of two years to carry out the College’s outreach activities alongside the Senior Outreach and Admissions Officer. 

The post-holder will provide support to the Senior Outreach and Admissions Officer and the Tutor for Admissions and Access in their specific duties and act in partnership with them in the implementation of the College’s outreach policies and initiatives.  The main areas of responsibility will be the organisation of and participation in College and University outreach/access events.   They will be part of a team of four consisting of the Academic Registrar, her Assistant and the Senior Outreach and Admissions Officer. They will be expected to be flexible within this team and to engage in a variety of areas of the College Office’s work as required.

Applicants should have excellent administrative, interpersonal and IT skills and should have the ability to work calmly under pressure and to prioritise to meet deadlines. Experience of outreach and student recruitment in higher education would be desirable but is not essential; knowledge of the Oxford college system and of its admissions procedures would also be an advantage.

Salary will be within the University’s Grade 5 scale (£28,131 - £33,348).  Benefits include free lunches when on duty, a contributory staff pension scheme and travel loan scheme.
