Visiting Student Applications

The College is seeking applications for Visiting Students for the academic year 2016-17, with applications accepted in the fields of Biochemistry and Chemistry. Visiting Students places offer students studying at other universities outside of the UK a chance to come to Oxford to study for a year alongside current undergraduates.

Visiting Students are expected to study at Corpus for a full academic year and follow, as far as possible, a normal undergraduate programme. We do not accept applications for less than the full academic year. Normally, Visiting Students will be expected to follow the second year undergraduate course. Students cannot obtain a formal qualification for the year they spend in Oxford but the College can provide an academic transcript at the end of the year. All Visiting Students are considered full members of the College and enjoy all the normal rights to University facilities such as libraries, lectures, and laboratories.

Further information, including entry criteria and fees for Visiting Students, can be found on the Visiting Student pages of the University website.

For the academic year 2016-17 the College will only be accepting applications in the following subjects: Chemistry and Biochemistry.

The deadline for applications is midday on February 12th.

All candidates should read the application guidance notes carefully before completing the application form, requesting references and submitting additional material.

A completed application form, along with completed reference forms and other associated material, should be returned by email to Brendan Shepherd, the Admissions Administrator. We will not be able to accept applications received after the deadline.

We will aim to let applicants know of our decision by the end of February.

If you have any questions about applying to Corpus for a place as an undergraduate Visiting Student, please email the Admissions Administrator.
