Corpus Christi College Oxford

SOLO and OxLIP+

Since 2008 SOLO has been a search and discovery tool for the major collections of the libraries of the University of Oxford. As well as searching the print holdings of many libraries including the Bodleian Libraries and many college libraries (including Corpus).  SOLO also lists electronic holdings and title links to more than 1,100 databases on OxLIP+.  It also searches ORA (Oxford University Research Archive), the Bodleian Library Allegro Chinese and Allegro Japanese catalogues and the Refugee Studies Cardbox catalogue (mostly grey literature published before 2004).

• This enables straightforward and flexible searches across different sources.
• Searches can be limited by library.
• Clear links to electronic books and online journals.
• Readers can sign in to view and renew their loans and requests

OxLIP+ enables current members of Oxford University to search for, identify and access individual electronic resources:

http://oxlip-plus.ouls.ox.ac.uk These include databases, electronic reference works and e-Journals and e-Book packages. Most individual e-books, e-journals and some databases can also be found through SOLO. To make the most of OxLIP+ and ensure access when away from Oxford, use Oxford University's single sign on (SSO) facility and:

• Add selected resources to a personalised area My research
• Save, export, or email references
• Save searches and re-run them or set up alerts

For further information about remote access to electronic resources, go to the University's Remote Access webpage
