Manifold Greatness: The Making of the King James Bible

Dr Helen Moore, Fellow and Tutor in English, visited the University of Texas at Austin on 26th April 2012 and spoke at the Harry Ransom Center about the history of the King James translation. Helen Moore was lead curator of Manifold Greatness: Oxford and the Making of the King James Bible, an exhibition held at the Oxford's Bodleian Library in 2011 in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the translation of the King James Bible. Her talk addressed the role played by Oxford in the translation of the King James Bible, the methods used by the translators, and some of the items displayed at the Oxford exhibition.
