Corpus Second in Norrington Table

This summer Corpus has risen to second place in the provisional Norrington table of Oxford Colleges, which ranks the performance of undergraduates in their final examinations. Very nearly half the College's students achieved Firsts. This year's score of 75.59% marks a further improvement on last year's outstanding outcome of 73.55% and fourth place. The President, Professor Richard Carwardine, said "This is a splendid achievement. The College takes great pleasure in congratulating the finalists on their exceptional results and in recognising the dedication and inspirational teaching of their tutors".
