The Library welcomes brief visits from Old Members who would like to revisit old haunts or show the Library to friends and family as part of their tour of the College.  If possible, requests for visits should be made in advance, but if you find yourself at the Lodge, please ask and we will do our best accommodate you.  Please note the Library is very busy in Trinity Term, and we hope you will understand why we would rather not disturb revising finalists during this time.

Old Members who are staying in College and would like to access to the Library during this time are welcome to apply to the Librarian. Those living in Oxford and wanting on-going access to the Library will need to apply in writing to the Fellow Librarian. Unfortunately the Library is not big enough to give regular access to all those who are not current members, but admissions during quieter times (e.g. the Long Vacation) may be possible.

Old Members wishing to consult items from the College's special collections (manuscripts, early printed books and archives) are referred, as are current members, to the information for Visiting Readers.

We are grateful for the support and donations the Library receives from Old Members, and the fond memories it continues to inspire. Those considering donating books to the Library may find the Donations web page useful. There you will also see our grateful acknowledgement for the gifts of books and journals made over the years. Those considering other kinds of donations are referred to the main College Alumni pages.
