We welcome graduate Visiting Student applicants in subjects where we have particular academic strengths. Students often like to spend a year conducting research with this status.

Visiting Students are expected to study at Corpus for a full academic year and follow, as far as possible, a normal graduate programme. We do not accept applications for less than the full academic year. Students cannot obtain a formal qualification for the year they spend in Oxford but the College can provide an academic transcript at the end of the year. All Visiting Students are considered full members of the College and enjoy all the normal rights to University facilities such as libraries, lectures, and laboratories.

Further information, including entry criteria and fees for Visiting Students, can be found on the Visiting Student pages of the University website.

Applications for 2015 entry will be considered from 1st January 2015. The Application Form, Reference Form and Notes of Guidance will be available to download from early December 2014.

Candidates will be expected to submit an application form, a personal statement of reasons for wishing to study the proposed course, two academic references (preferably from academics at the home institution), a sample of written work (for appropriate subjects) and a transcript or record of education from the home institution. Additionally, students who have not previously been tutored in English at university level are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.

If you have any questions about applying to Corpus for a place as a graduate Visiting Student, please email the Academic Registrar.

Alternatively, graduates wishing to spend a shorter period of time in Oxford can apply to the relevant Faculty to become a Recognised Student of the University.  Such students are not members of a College.
